Chambers Copper Cooktop

Hi All,

I just bought a home in Los Angeles that came with a circa 1956 Chambers cooktop and separate oven, both are copper clad. Cooktop looks just like any Chambers stove of the 50's, only top is stainless, and 42" wide. The front apron is copper as well as the knobs. It has 4 burners with a griddle/broiler inbetween. The burners and griddle all work nicely though the broiler rack doesn't lift like it should. I found that the allen key that holds the knob in place has backed off and so the knob just spins. I had plans to restore it, but the other half says it needs to go. If this is the wrong place to post items for sale, my apologies, but if someone here would be interested, please let me know as I would hate to see such a cool piece go to waste, especially with parts becoming scarcer these days. Unfortunately the counter top oven has already been disposed of, but the cooktop is still intact and functional. Thanks, [email][email protected][/email]
